I am an extremely picky eater. But the food here was WONDERFUL!! My boyfriend has been coming here for years and he wanted me to try it and now I'll be coming back once a week! New management is doing well keeping the establishment running well and clean. The atmosphere was beautifully decorated with a cute little neon sign. They had so much variety for an amazing price which is rare to say these days. The carne breakfast was so good it was shocking. I have never had eggs with rice and it was a delicious combination all together. I tried their empanadas and was in awe. They have this ají that you put in the empanada and it was so good i got 10 more to bring home. Never have I every liked empanadas so much. The absolute best part was the take home station that had bags, takeout boxes, napkins, water, plates, styrofoam cups for hot things, etc. It was so well thought of I was gushing about it for 5 whole minutes. Will definitely be back for more !!

Great food, affordable price and awesome hospitality. The cashier was super nice and helpful when explaining the menu.

Absolutely delicious food and great service - worth the somewhat long wait for delicious, fresh food.

I love the casuelita! Is a really good restaurant they offer grat food and customer service!

This place has the best empanadas I have ever had in my life so far. I have finally returned to eat here after years of being away due to my living out of state. Im Not surprised that after some time they still taste just as delicious as they had some years ago. This time around in also enjoyed the pandenono and the CARNITAS CON CEBOLLA Y PIMENTON, ARROZ, MADUROS. The baked goods were my favorite part because of their texture and perfect balance. Nothing I had was excessively salty or sweet. I recommend trying the Columbian beer as well. We ordered both the beef and cheese empanadas and they immediately brought about positive feelings. The perfect crunch from the shell is so satisfying and it only gets better from there. The beef and starch mixture in the middle is so fantastic and smooth. The sauce they give your evolves the flavor even further by adding an acidic element. They are sized perfectly to trick you into thinking you can have just one more and still save you waste line. The truth is though that you won't stop eating them until they are all gone. I also love that they can easily fill you up, making them perfect for a meal Or a midday snack. The cheese empanadas are also delicious and creamy while maintaining that beautiful crispy exterior. The other menu item I would strongly recommend is the chorizo. Its mouth watering and seasoned liberally in the best way possible. Im honestly not typically a fan of any sausage but i made an exemption this day. The juicy well tended dish was a surprise banger! Im Used to store bough chorizo from the midwest and i know now that i have been starved of quality chorizo.

Miss the sobrebarriga in the menu but this place is still the best Colombian food around. Ordered some soup and empanadas and it was the best Colombian I've had in a minute Very impressed with their consistency throughout the years ... I'll always gladly pay for this quality of food
